These stays are all sewn with in solid color cotton as the outer material. Customization is at your fingertips - if you desire a different color or fabric, don't hesitate to reach out to us via direct message.
Design:
Inspired by the Tudor fashion of the era, these stays provide a historical conical silhouette. They lace up both the front and back, allowing you to achieve an authentic and period-accurate look. Note on fit - Tudor stays end at the natural waist with a dip below in the front. They are not meant for tight lacing.
Sizing
• This corset is designed to have up to a 2” lacing gap in the front and back
• Center front length - 14"
• Center back length - 11"
Measure your relaxed waist and subtract 2-4 inches (2 inches if you are new to corsets/stays, 4 inches if you are familiar with them or are "squishy" and compress at the waist easily). Select the waist measurement closest to your result. If you have any questions about fit, please reach out.
Construction
• Boned with a combination of spring steel boning and artificial reed
• Double layers of 100% organic cotton canvas for strength
• Internal boning channels for smooth finish
• Two part grommets for sturdy lacing
Shipping:
Rest assured that your Tudor Stays will arrive in pristine condition. Stays are wrapped in several layers of acid free tissue and a clear product bag, then placed in a cardboard tube for shipping. If you would like shipping insurance or special wrapping, please convo me.
